Waterless Cooking Recipes
You may be very excited to start with waterless cooking but it can be hard to know what to
cook first and how to do it. Just the term waterless alone is enough to confuse people.
It makes them think they have to cook in an entirely different way and this is not
quite true. The basics of cooking remain the same; you simply avoid adding water
and oils into the equation. Take a look at the different recipes below and add them to
your recipe box as new waterless meals for you and your family.
Chicken with Broccoli
1 lb Chicken Breast, cut into bite size pieces
1 Cluster of Broccoli
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Mashed Garlic
1 tsp Corn Starch
Take the soy sauce, mashed garlic and corn starch and marinate your chicken pieces for at
least 10 minutes before cooking; the longer the better.
While this is marinating take your broccoli, clean it and cut it into bite size pieces.
Take your chicken and broccoli and add them to the pan. Cover with specially designed lid
and turn burner to medium heat.
From here you simply wait for the whistle to let you know when to turn the heat down
or off.
Green Vegetable Stir Fry
250g of Seasonal Vegetables
5g Olive Oil
1tsp Soy Sauce
Simply clean all your vegetables of choice and add them to your pan with the oil.
Cover and cook over medium heat. Stir several times throughout the cooking process
and always make sure your steam valve is closed to keep in the flavors.
When the whistle sounds, turn off the heat and continue cooking until desired
tenderness is reached. Add soy sauce to taste, then serve.
Spinach Salad
250g Spinach
5g Sesame oil
All you have to do is clean the spinach and add to the pan on medium heat. Make sure
the lid is on tight and the steam valve is closed.
When the whistle sounds, turn off heat and continue cooking until desired tenderness
is reached. Stirring throughout this process is optional.
Take off the heat when done, add oil and serve.
As you can see, waterless cooking recipes are incredibly simple. There is very little work involved to create a great tasting meal with this method.
All you have to do is clean your food and let the waterless cookware do the work.
It may seem as though there are not enough spices or flavor being put into these recipes
but it is true the waterless cookware maintains all the natural flavours most people
have never tasted before.
There is no longer a need to decide which spices will add flavor to your meals,
allow the foods to keep their own flavor and your work is done. |
