Waterless Cookware Sets
Waterless cookware is made of high grade stainless steel and does not allow metal to get into food.
Stainless steel is easy to clean and does not need to be coated with Teflon, which also flakes off and can get into your food.
Once the cookware heats up, it retains its heat. The surface of the
stainless steel pan does not radiate much energy, and the construction of the
pan keeps the temperature inside the pan consistent for continuous, constant
temperature cooking with the heat turned off. This will save you money on energy because you can turn off the stove while your food finishes cooking.
Tips On Using Waterless Cookware
- use the right size pan. - food should almost fill the
pan. Too large a pan can destroy the vitamins and minerals, dry your
food and possibly cause food to burn.
- rinse and freshen vegetables - pour off excess liquid. The small
amount of moisture that clings to the vegetables is enough to cook with.
- open the steam valve in the special cover and cook on medium to low heat.
Once there is sufficient heat the valve will whistle. At this time
close the valve and turn off the heat. The food will continue cooking
because of the steam that is contained within the pan and by the heat
retained in the pan.
- DON'T PEEK - everytime the cover is raised you allow moisture and
heat to escape. This lengthens cooking time.
