What is 304 Surgical Stainless Steel?

304 surgical stainless steel contains about 18% chromium and a higher perentage of nickel than "ordinary" stainless steel. The popularity of 304 surgical stainless steel is due to its gleaming appearance which lasts for the life of a product. Its excellent corrosion resistance is due to an invisible, passive oxide film that forms on the metal's surface in air. Sometimes 304 Surgical Stainless is referred to as T304.

Can I use this cookware on my induction top stove?

Our 7-ply set, the KT17ULTRA, was made specifically for induction top stoves. There is a layer of carbon steel between the layers of surgical stainless steel in this set. This makes the utensils extremely magnet-attractive, perfect for induction tops.

What is the difference between the 7 and 5 ply sets?

The number of plies is really a matter of preference because the number of plies is more about marketing strategies than quality. After doing their research customers who have chosen either the 5ply or 9ply have all been perfectly happy with their cookware, and we've never had to accept a return on any set because of quality.
Other than the plies, the differences in the sets are quite minor. Unless they own an induction-top stove, we always tell our customers that it should be a simple matter of preference when they make their decision, because the quality is very high in all our sets. If you own an induction-top stove, you will want to order the KT17ULTRA set.

All the 5 and 7 ply sets have the steam release valve on the tops of the lids. All are constructed of a high quality, 304 surgical stainless steel.

How are the handles attached to the cookware?

The handle brackets are welded onto the pots so that no rivets or screws are inside the pans. A stainless steel flame guard is placed between the textured, virtually indestructible, non-slip handle and the pot itself. The phenolic handles are resistant to heat, cold, and detergents, and can be placed in an oven up to 350 degrees. Each handle is molded with a very large eyelet that will permit hanging the utensils. For convenient storage simply invert the cover, nest it in the proper pan and hang or stack your cookware

How can you sell at such low prices? Is there a difference in quality of your cookware?

The main reason we can sell at such low prices is because we have very low overhead, we sell on the internet only and do not have a retail store. We do not do bulk mailings or public advertising. Since we do not have the extra overhead that most retail outlets we can pass these savings on to our customers.

What is the best way to clean stainless steel cookware?

There are several stainless steel cleaners on the market that you can use to clean your cookware. I prefer Bartenders Friend powder, but you can use any brand you wish. You can use the stainless steel cleaner for both the inside and outside of the pots. Just check with your local supermarket and select the brand you prefer.

How can I get additional handles or knobs for my cookware?

This company markets the following waterless cookware and cookware sets, The Steam Control System, and ForeverWare. Chef's Secret and Precise Heat. If you own any of these brands you can obtain extra knobs and handles from the information on your lifetime warranty which was packed in the case when you received your cookware.

Is it safe to order online?

It is perfectly safe. At cookforyourhealth.com security and privacy are of utmost importance. We use a state of the art secure web server and adhere to strict privacy guidelines. Actually, online credit card orders may be the safest way to place an order because in most cases your information is not seen by anyone. It's automatic and faster.

Can I pay by check, money order or PayPal ?

If you are still unsure or don't have a credit card we also provide phone or regular mail check /money order payment. While we don't have dedicated agents to take orders over the phone you are welcome to call our toll free number 877-762-9321 to place your order.

If you wish to order by regular mail with a check or money order, just print out the shopping cart page and send it along with your payment. In order to reduce fraud, payments by check will be delayed until the check has cleared the bank. This could be up to 30 days. Checks and money orders should be made payable to "RNC Web Enterprises" and are accepted in US Dollars only.

Why was my credit card declined or why won't my order go through?

Credit card orders are placed through our secure server in real time. The payment information is sent to our merchant account and processed immediately. If the credit card is declined you have an option to re-enter the information or select a different card.

There are several reasons your card may be declined. In most cases it is because the Billing Address you entered does not match what the bank has on file. Your Billing Address is the address your credit card statement is sent to. This verification system protects you against credit card fraud. Sometimes the internet is slow and the transaction is not completed in time. If that happens, try waiting a few minutes and sending the order again making sure you check the following.

1. Make sure you check the correct card - Master Card or Visa

2. Make sure the Billing Address you enter is the same as the address that your bill is sent to.

3. Enter your credit card number without spaces or dashes.

4. You may also enter a different credit card number.

In a small number of cases the issuing bank does not provide AVS information the system needs to confirm the validity of the card. If this is the case, you MUST use another card - resubmitting 10 times will not work.

Why didn't I get an order confirmation? Where is my tracking number? Where is my order?

In order to get an order confirmation, you must supply us with a valid, working email address. All successful orders are sent an automatic email confirmation by our secure server using the email provided during the checkout process. If you selected UPS as the delivery, you will receive another email once the order is shipped giving you the tracking number.

On the rare occasions when there is a problem or question with your order, you would be contacted by email, and we would await your response. Email is the main method of contact and having accurate information is essential to providing you with the best service possible. Remember, your information is kept private.

As an additional method of contact, we add messages to your order status. You can check for any pertinent information by clicking on Order Tracking and entering your order number in the box provided and clicking Done.

I think my package is lost, what should I do?

Cook For Your Health does not assume responsibility for lost orders. In the event that an order is lost en route, please email Customer Service at customerservice@cookforyourhealth.com. Depending on the shipping method we will file a claim and are required to wait for the claim to be processed to send replacement items. This process can take up to 2 weeks.

How soon will I receive my order?

Orders are generally processed and shipped within 3 business days. During the busy holiday season, please allow extra time. Standard shipping will usually deliver your order within 2-3 business days from when the item is shipped.


Please keep in mind that 2 day delivery means 2 business days from the day the order is shipped, not the date you place the order.

We declare that once a package has been delivered to the shipping carrier that liability of the package no longer lies with Cook For Your Health. We are therefore not liable for lost or stolen merchandise.

How much do you charge for shipping?

Ground shipping is Free to the continental US. There is a charge to ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Next Day, 2-Day and 3-Day are also available, please email us with the item number(s) and ship to zip code for a shipping quote. Shipping other than ground can be very expensive due to weight and package dimensions. We also do not ship outside the US, this is just much too expensive and can cost 2-3 times the cost of the item.
