The handy step-steamer lets you steam just the right
quantity of vegetables because it fits the saucepan and four sizes of casseroles. Simply fill the bottom of the stock pot with water,
fill the insert with food and cook until tender.
You don't
need to find a place to lay the lid down because the lid will fit between the handle and the pot. Just lift
the lid and add ingredients or stir. This can be useful for soups, stews etc, but for cooking waterless you do
not want to lift the lid during cooking as this allows the heat and moisture to escape.
You can
easily stack cook with this cookware set. When stack cooking, remember to always start cooking each
individual pan on a burner until you are ready to turn the heat to low, then stack to finish cooking.
